The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) needed to create an annual report that would stand out from previous years regarding design and data representation. The information had to be in sync with the three pillars of FANR: safety, protection, and sustainability. The challenge was to create a fresh design that effectively communicated the purpose and achievements of FANR throughout the year.
Punch was exclusively elected to design the 2018 annual report. We reduced the text-laden appearance with vibrant hues, bold iconography, and easy-to-understand infographics and made the report aesthetically pleasing. To denote the three pillars of FANR, we created a circular graphic device extended into attractive design layouts throughout the piece.
Our efforts resulted in an easy-to-understand report that helped FANR effctively communicate its purpose and achievements throughout the year. By breaking the monotony of previous years and creating a fresh design, Punch successfully delivered a report that stood out and met the high standards of nuclear safety, security, and safeguards. The 2018 annual report fulfilled its mandatory requirements and enhanced FANR's reputation as a forward-thinking and innovative organization.
